2010-2011: A New Year!

A new year seemed to have  happened so quick.  Third week of school, and we’ve gotten through scheduling woes with PowerSchool, Open House, and a an overtime victory at our first home football game.  I also start the year as the 2010 Teacher of the Year.  Loving the front row parking spot I must admit!

Thursday I taught a lesson to the Teacher Cadets class on picture books.  This was a lesson I was very excited to do!  I felt it went really well, and I hope to work more with this class this year since I was  a Teacher Cadet in high school.

Coming up this week is phase two of PowerSchool-the gradebook-and STAR Reading diagnostic testing.

Labor Holiday anyone?

Congrats on the Teacher of the Year and the front row parking. I was TOY at my school in 2006 and it was wonderful. I hope your year is wonderful.

Great idea–kudos on TOY and a great parking place. Of course if you are like me, you get there early enough to get a good space.

I am sharing this idea without teacher cadet sponsor TOMORROW!!
